FOBDA in its services, is aiming at reducing cases of poverty and unemployment by equipping youths with leadership and entrepreneurial skills through seminars and workshops. Among major activities, FOBDA is involved in the following:
- Promoting the talents of youths by supporting the organized clubs available. (For instance, football or singing club)
- Supporting the poor and the needy in communities by providing food where possible.
- FOBDA will sponsor merited students who would love to pursue their studies in the entrepreneurial fields in order to help Africa become a better place for living.
Workshops and Seminars
One of FOBDA’s core activities is to arrange workshops and seminars to equip the youths with the leadership and entrepreneurial skills. FOBDA believes that this will help to reduce poverty and unemployment as the youths will be focusing on business creation than just relying on employment. These workshops have a special curriculum that will be followed by the trainer(s), and this shall include the following short courses:

- Self-Awareness
- HIV/AIDS
- School Building
3. FUNDRAISING SEMINARS
- Running a fundraising campaign for the success an organisation
- Developing a theology or philosophy of fundraising
- Communicating with donors for effective fundraising
- Developing a fundraising development plan
- Developing a donor centric fundraising case statement and many others.
SPORTS
- The sport includes all forms of competitive physical activity or games which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators.
- Foundation for Business Development in Africa exists to bring self-awareness, self-leadership and Business leadership to people in Africa. Sports is one of the activities that are given enough attention in Africa but lacks resources. We at FOBDA use our time and resources to talk about awareness to young sportsmen and women. Our aim is to see sportspeople being aware of their ability and possibilities in business as well so that a gab of poverty can be bridged in Africa.
- Executive members of FOBDA concluded that they would be volunteering on children’s sports activities to motivate and encourage them to be best sportspeople they can be.
