Eliana Carter and Lephline Mahlangu are both students who are passionate about business development rather than seeking jobs. The two in 2020 decided to begin a rabbit farming project while continuing with their studies. Their vision is to become rabbits suppliers in Swaziland and South Africa.

The good news is that FOBDA has been successful in addressing problems we are trying to solve for the past three years. The reality is that it is still doing very well in Africa. We hope Africa will become a better place for everyone through business development.

One of FOBDA’s core activities is to arrange workshops and seminars to equip the youths with the leadership and entrepreneurial skills. FOBDA believes that this will help to reduce poverty and unemployment as the youths will be focusing on business creation than just relying on employment. SPORTS
- The sport includes all forms of competitive physical activity or games which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators.
- Foundation for Business Development in Africa exists to bring self-awareness, self-leadership and Business leadership to people in Africa. Sports is one of the activities that are given enough attention in Africa but lacks resources. We at FOBDA use our time and resources to talk about awareness to young sportsmen and women. Our aim is to see sportspeople being aware of their ability and possibilities in business as well so that a gab of poverty can be bridged in Africa.
- Executive members of FOBDA concluded that they would be volunteering on children’s sports activities to motivate and encourage them to be best sportspeople they can be.

FOBDA exists to equip youths with leadership and entrepreneurial skills with the aim of increasing business development in Africa. We believe that through business development, Africa will be able to reduce cases of poverty and unemployment in Africa. Statistics according to World Bank shows that in Africa, almost 60% of the youths are jobless.
On the other hand, statistics also shows that 377 million Africans will still be living on less than $1.90 a day and very few African countries will have ended poverty. Realizing this, FOBDA came to help Africans find other means of reducing poverty and unemployment. Business creation has been our first attempt towards ending poverty and unemployment because we have realized that we do not have enough businesses to hire skilled people into work. It is our hope that through business development, people particularly the youths will change their mindsets to entrepreneurship than relying only on employment.
However, we have a challenge.We need support from you.
We do not have access to transport, and this is making us to face challenges when it comes to holding workshops or going to fields
